APRA AMCOS is an Australasian music rights management organization that represents songwriters, composers and publishers. Its roots trace back to APRA's founding in 1926 and AMCOS's establishment in 1979, and the two now operate as a single rights body. The organization serves more than 119,000 members across Australia and New Zealand and administers performance, communication and mechanical rights on their behalf. Through its international affiliations, it ensures writers are paid when their music is played overseas and helps music customers in Australia and New Zealand access music from the rest of the world. Based in Ultimo, New South Wales, APRA AMCOS is a mid-sized organization within the music industry. In 2026, it launched SongHubs Academy Advanced, a new program for writer services.
