AVID Corporation provides custom vision-based measurement and inspection systems for online and offline industrial applications. Our experience in video metrology and automated inspection solutions has led to the development of systems to meet the needs of the industrial vision and quality assurance marketplace. AVID Corporation specializes in systems and solutions for the plastic packaging industry. We have designed and produced vision systems and devices for the bottling industry since 1982, and our engineers have been providing automated measurement solutions to manufacturing since 1978. This allows AVID to draw upon over 30 years of experience with application solutions when designing a new system. Our bottle inspection systems have become a standard in the industry. Some of our customers include: Amcor Rigid Plastics North America and Latin America, Graham Packaging, Plastipak Packaging, Constar International, Silgan Plastics, Southeastern Container (Coca-Cola Enterprises), Western Container (Coca-Cola Enterprises), SUN Products Corporation, Nestle USA, Nestle Waters, Drug Plastics, GK Packaging, Amway (Alticor), and Encon Incorporated.
