Broader Product Range Expanding beyond calendars to include complementary stationery, gifts, and holiday-themed items could attract more customers during peak seasons, boosting overall transaction values and customer loyalty.

Partnership Opportunities Collaborating with popular brands, artists, or celebrities to create exclusive calendar lines could increase brand appeal and drive higher sales, especially in competitive retail environments.

In 1998, Calendar Club UK opened the first 12 of our temporary stores in the UK, selling a range of calendars including celebrity, art, football, dog and animal calendars, as well as family planners, to our highly receptive customers. In 2023, we're celebrating our 25th anniversary, with around 200 pop-up stores on the high street and in shopping centres across the UK and Ireland from September to January. As a short-term retailer, we operate an unusual, but highly successful business model, with store operators running their own stores each season with the help of a well-established permanent team. The UK operation is also part of a larger group with branches in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, boasting roughly 1,000 seasonal shops.

Calendar Club, along with its sister companies Otter House and Carousel Calendars, operate from a 12,000m2 premises, housing the main warehouse and offices, based in Exeter, Devon. The majority of the 55 full-time staff members work from the Exeter HQ, with Head of Sales, Claire Holmes, and eight Territory Managers, out on the road. As well as the full-time staff, many part-time members of staff are hired each year to help with the huge rush at Christmas.
