CommonTown’s latest development, Dudu, is Singapore’s first research-based Personalised Chinese Learning System. Dudu recommends levelled eBooks based on each student’s reading ability to allow the student to improve his/her command of the Chinese language through reading. In 2013, the Ministry of Education One Portal All Learners (OPAL), powered by CommonAcademy, won the Asia Pacific FutureGov Award for Education Organisation of the Year. CommonTown was also recently awarded the Civil Service College Unified Learning Management System (ULMS) tender to provide an e-learning portal to over 70,000 civil servants in Singapore.
