Daden Group (Daden) was formed in 2005 to partner with top sporting goods brands through license and supplier agreements. Daden’s products are sold to major retailers and team dealers around the world. In early 2009 Daden purchased substantially all assets of DeLong Sportswear, a manufacturer of high school and collegiate award jackets, uniforms, headwear and accessories. At this time Daden also signed a multi-year supplier agreement with Under Armour to produce on-court uniforms for their collegiate partners. By early 2010 these operations were successfully integrated into Daden Group. In July 2010, certain DeLong assets were sold to Visant Corporation, a KKR company and merged into their sportswear division, Rock Creek Athletics. In late 2005, Daden signed its first license agreement with Rawlings for exclusive rights to sell and market Rawlings headwear and accessories in North America. Prior to forming Daden Group, the Principals at Daden were the President and Vice President of adidas Team, which they co-founded in 1999 as Valley Apparel Company. Valley was purchased by adidas America in 2004. Adidas Team and Valley designed sourced and sold all of adidas licensed products for the NFL, MLB, MLS, US Olympics, and Colleges.
