Founded in 2000, Engineering & Land Planning grew for almost 24 years into a premier east coast engineering firm incorporating sustainable approaches and forward-thinking design on private and public land development projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  

In March 2024, AKRF, Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting firm based in New York City, acquired the assets of E&LP. AKRF was founded in 1981 and employs nearly 400 professionals and staff in its New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia offices along with full-time remote employees throughout the country. AKRF operates in the land development, energy, transportation, and water sectors and has earned numerous awards for technical excellence from industry and business organizations.
