Excel supplies high quality and cost effective testing solutions for ALL Powertrain types: •ICE •EV •HEV •ESS Batteries •eMotors •Hydrogen •Fuel Cells & components •H2ICE •Power transmission. 

We have three locations and over 40 engine testing cells, testing from 7 to 5500 HP, including exhaust emissions in full compliance with 40CFR 1065.  Marine, Mining, Light Vehicle, Military, Class 8, Hydrogen and Altitude simulation.

xEV, BESS, HV battery systems is Excel's fastest growing testing expertise.  A full suite of battery performance / cycling, environmental, and abuse testing is available. We're regularly performing regulatory testing and creating new tests with our customers in this exciting field!  OEMs use Excel for DV & PV testing, especially during new manufacturing ramp-up.

Our testing facilities include both emissions and multiple service accumulation facilities designed specifically for EPA and CARB Certification Testing of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), Side by Side Vehicles (SXS), On-Highway Motorcycles (ONMC), and Off- Highway Motor Cycles (OFMC) in full compliance with 40CFR 86 Subpart F.  There are now 5 chassis dynos running specifically for these wheeled vehicles with unique attributes. (including NEV's) 

Excel's powertrain test facilities include axle efficiency testing in full compliance with 40CFR 1037.565. We also offer powertrain test cells for transmissions, transfer cases, and other driveline components.
