Genetic Alliance is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC that focuses on health advocacy centered on genetics. With more than 25 years of activity, it seeks to advance health outcomes by encouraging openness around genetic information for individuals, families, and communities. The organization maintains a substantial network that spans over 1,000 disease-focused advocacy groups and connects with universities, private companies, government agencies, and public policy bodies, enabling shared resources and programs.

In early 2021, Genetic Alliance launched the iHope Genetic Health program to broaden access to whole-genome sequencing for patients with genetic diseases.
