As the French Industrial Technical Center for joining and associated testing, we provide services to the profession as a whole. Institut de Soudure Group consists of Institut de Soudure Association, Institut de Soudure Industrie services company and its other commercial subsidiaries. This structure gives it a special place in the profession, with a unique combination of skills in materials, multi-material joining technologies, testing and inspection, as well as training. 
As the French Industrial Technical Centre for joining and associated testing, Institut de Soudure provides knowledge, innovation and support for its members and to the profession as a whole. 
In addition to missions of general interest for the profession, the Group is also a service provider. Its operational subsidiaries in France and the world accompany companies in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of their equipment with quality and service as priorities.
Inspection, testing and investigation in the oil, gas and chemical
sectors have made up the core of our commercial activities for a long
time. One of the driving forces behind the Group's development
is our internationalisation. We are present in France – our historic
birthplace – Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Oceania.
We are continuing to develop our activities in the nuclear and
aeronautic sectors, and more generally in transport, framework of our market and product diversification.
External growth is another strategic priority, with several acquisitions including composite and nuclear activities.
