Geosciences Testing and Research, Inc. (GTR) was founded in 1995 as a geotechnical engineering and construction consulting firm. Together with our New York company, GTR Engineering of New York, we effectively serve our clients throughout the Northeast. We have also completed projects throughout the US, including Hawaii, as well as internationally in Jamaica, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. GTR provides foundation engineering and geotechnical consulting services and specializes in design, testing, instrumentation, and research of deep foundations. 

Our services have been utilized during the design, construction, and post construction phases of geotechnical projects for both public and private agencies.  GTR is currently involved in or has recently completed some of the largest federally supported public work projects in the US. The majority of our work comes from long-term relationships we have established with our clients. GTR and FES have developed a group of niche geotechnical engineering services and capabilities that are highly sought after by our clients.  Our consistent ability to provide timely service and cost efficient value engineering solutions combined with our understanding of our client’s needs are what sets GTR apart from other engineering firms.
