Kirst Engineering Company was established in 1981 in Billings, Montana, and is a manufacturers’ sales representative and industrial equipment distributor and operates a pump and valve repair facility. Our mission from the beginning has been to offer engineered products of the highest quality, along with the best technical support. To accomplish this goal Kirst Engineering Company has maintained a professional sales staff, an applications engineering support group, as well as a distribution warehouse and service center in Billings, Montana. Our branch offices in Casper, Wyoming and Bismarck, North Dakota further provide quality service throughout our customer base. Our original focus on petroleum refining, power generation and the oil and gas market remains unchanged. In February 2020, Kirst Engineering Company sold to Bray International, changing the company name to Kirst Process Equipment, Division of Bray Sales Inc. Bray Sales includes several other independent representative/distributor companies. Today Kirst Process Equipment also offers products and applications engineering for the water and wastewater, mining, wood processing and commercial construction markets. We are still the experts regarding products for fluid processes and the instrumentation to control and monitor them. In the summer of 2011, we opened our pump and valve repair facility. Our shop has been certified by Sundyne as having equipment necessary to diagnose, repair, and test Sundyne product. We also have personnel who have attended Sundyne Overhaul & Maintenance school at the factory and we have a technician who is certified as a Vibration Analyst, Category 1. We have the capability to work on other manufacturers’ pumps and control valves. Kirst Process Equipment has always been committed to supporting a competent and enthusiastic sales and service team.
