Mode Living combines Verda’s Turkish heritage and love of home décor with Tania’s Persian tradition of home-cooked meals, symbolizing family and community. The two friends met at Columbia Business School in 2007 and instantly connected over a shared love of home decor, good food, and entertaining at home. At many gatherings in their NYC apartments, Verda and Tania noted a need for high quality and attractive linens that were also practical, modern and easy to take care of.
