Our wholly-owned subsidiary, Hood Patterson & Dewar, is a leading provider of electrical and mechanical testing and commissioning services in major computer centers across the country and around the world. 

P&D maintains long-standing relationships with our clients, several of which have relied on us for nearly 70 years. We began by providing civil and electrical engineering and land surveying services in 1947 for rural electrification programs that were extending service to towns and farms in the Southeast. Today, we offer a wide range of services to electrical cooperatives, municipalities, investor-owned utilities, industrial companies, transportation providers, state and local governments, and residential & commercial developers.
