Rasa was founded in 2018 by Lopa van der Mersch, who was looking for a better way to energize after having a baby. She had years of study in Ayurveda and its sister sciences, which inspired her to fill our daily cup with more than the spike-&-slump cycle of coffee.

Rasa is a line of deliciously robust coffee alternatives that combine adaptogens, mushrooms, & prebiotics to give nourishing energy that sustains. Our herbalist-formulated blends pay homage to the wisdom of Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, & Western Herbalism, plus a hearty dose of scientific research. We're on a mission to provide an affordable, delicious alternative to coffee that nourishes while it energizes as a counter to the extractive demands of modern life.

We are a brand that cares an abnormal amount, which shows up across our obsessively sustainable supply chain, internally in our culture, and in how we treat every one of our 100,000+ customers...including trolls. We strive to live by the principles of Conscious Leadership, weaving in Brené Brown's work, and run through the engine of EOS...all in a culture that is peppered with "that's what she said" jokes (because really, do we have to all take everything so seriously?). 

Our rapid growth means we're fast paced, but we've got the best possible fuel in our cup and a  supportive, uplifting culture that inspires us to grow and develop not only professionally but also personally.
