The Russian River Valley Winegrowers (RRVW) is a community of farmers and winemakers promoting the exceptional grapes and world-renowned wines reflective of the diversity within the Russian River Valley AVA. We are multi-generational stewards of our land and natural resources, continuously innovating sustainable practices for the future in our premier region known for its distinctive Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other grape varieties. It’s a legacy that began in the 19th century when immigrants from Mediterranean countries settled in the Russian River Valley and began planting vines. While most vineyards were "gardens" for personal family consumption, commercial wineries sprang up, and by the dawn of the 20th century there were nearly 200 wineries operating. Today, every vineyard in Russian River Valley tells a story. With deep roots in California’s viticultural history, our visionary winemakers use exquisite fruits to craft wines you can’t find anywhere else.
