SD Meetings and Events is a full-service meeting and event management company that operates in-person and online digital events for all industries and sizes. We offer a comprehensive range of services curated to suit your specific needs including venue site selection, contract negotiations, logistics management, virtual event consulting, and onsite event staffing. We are a team of highly skilled, detail-oriented event and organization planners who manage a variety of meetings and events across the United States. Our proven history of partnering with various organizations and companies has allowed us to plan successful events and achieve clients’ financial and strategic goals. 

Founded by Erin Scholes, SD Meetings and Events was born out of a strong desire to organize superior meetings and events. Erin’s background includes over twenty years of hospitality and event management experience, with eight years as the Director of Catering and Convention Services at a luxury property in Downtown, San Diego. She has been a member of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2000 and is a faculty member for San Diego State University’s Hospitality and Tourism program. Recognized nationally for her success, Erin has received numerous awards including the coveted MPI Chair’s Award and the Nancy Morrell-Swanson Visionary Award. She has also earned the respected professional destinations of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP), Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) and Digital Event Strategist (DES).
