SOFTEX is a Brazilian nonprofit organization focused on advancing the country’s digital transformation by creating, promoting, and delivering initiatives in technology and innovation at national and international levels. Based in Brasília and Manaus, it operates through six areas with a network of 21 regional agents, 34 science and technology institutions, and 19 accelerators. The organization supports more than five thousand startups and more than six thousand companies across all states and in twenty countries, spanning sectors such as industry, agribusiness, trade and services, and logistics, including verticals like gas and oil, telecommunications, health, aerospace, automotive, and security.

Founded in 1996 to grow and develop the Brazilian IT market with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, SOFTEX acts as an executor of federal IT policies. It articulates and coordinates public and private efforts to generate innovation-driven impact and oversees two priority programs under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations and SUFRAMA of the Ministry of Economy. The organization has mediated projects with the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) for participating companies.
