The Maneater is the official student newspaper of the University of Missouri and is a student organization that operates independently from the student government, the School of Journalism and any other campus entity.

The Maneater editorial board and staff are composed entirely of students, with the exception of our beloved professional adviser. The newspaper publishes regularly online at themaneater.com during the academic year and produces an annual Homecoming print issue in the fall and a MOVE Magazine in the spring. The Maneater can be found on social media platforms, including Instagram, X and YouTube at the @TheManeater, and TikTok at @themaneater_1955.
