After 17 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Harold (“Bud”) Newton, Jr., President of the Newton Engineering Group, P.C., left government to pursue private development. The private sector provided a challenging opportunity to solve traffic, surveying, and land development problems in a timely, cost-effective manner. The Newton Engineering Group originated on October 1, 1990 as a Professional Traffic, Surveying and Land Development Firm. Since then, we have reorganized as a Professional Corporation with a team of highly capable professionals with the breadth and depth of experience offering a full range of Professional Surveying and Civil Engineering Services to our Clients.
