The Physical Security Group (PSG) was established in May 2009, but the core personnel have been together thru a series of acquisitions and takeovers for more than two decades. Initially established in 1990 as part of the Unisys Corporation,  we were awarded the first Army Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS-I) and Pentagon Security Contracts.  

Our management team has more than 70 years collective large scale integration and 35 years of security systems experience. With such a large amount of understanding to draw from, we deliver efficient and cost effective solutions to our customers.  Our primary focus remains on providing a quality product including design, project management, procurement, installation, training, and maintenance on a wide variety of systems and devices. Our personnel have worked on approximately 80 Government sites, globally, and continue to have major roles in both the ICIDS program and other critical security systems across the Government. 

With the increasing demand for video evidence PSG has designed and fielded both analog and digital Pelco CCTV systems. In more recent history we have become a Mobotix Certified Partner and have started the process of implementing dedicated IP Video systems as just another option for our customers. 

As the principal security contractor at Ft. Detrick, MD, the Forest Glen Annex, and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, MD.,  PSG is tasked with the maintenance of their existing security systems plus design and installation of new or expanding systems for various tenants. Ft. Detrick is experiencing significant expansion in mission and personnel and PSG is leading the way to meet their security needs.
