The Spokesman-Review is a newspaper publisher based in Spokane, Washington, and operates as the largest provider of news and information for the Inland Northwest. Its roots extend to the Spokane Falls Review, founded in 1883, which merged with The Spokesman in 1893 under publisher William H. Cowles. The Cowles family has continued to oversee the newspaper across generations, with William Stacey Cowles currently serving as publisher.

The company expanded its legacy through the acquisition of the Spokane Daily Chronicle, and the two newsrooms merged in 1983, with the Chronicle continuing in publication until 1992. Today the publication operates as a regional newspaper serving readers in the Inland Northwest, delivering local coverage and information.
