The Whittaker Group LLC (TWG) is a private equity and advisory organization specializing in business development and financial management of startup companies. TWG seeks to identify those companies with (1) an experienced, highly motivated management team, (2) a unique and compelling product or concept within an attractive industry, (3) a disruptive business model with the potential to literally change the paradigms for doing business within their industry and (4) the potential to become a $1 billion company within 5 to 7 years. TWG provides seed funding and management services in consideration for an equity stake in these companies. Management services assume both a board seat and an executive position, working hand in hand with the principles to further develop the business and funding plans, build a strong management team, and implement the plan. TWG remains with the companies until investors achieve a designated liquidity event, generally an acquisition of the company, an IPO or a management buy-out. The current portfolio companies include opportunities within aerospace, media, agriculture and technology.
