In 2018 rival gang members from the Bloods, Crips and GD’s came together to launch TRU Colors, a large for-profit brewery with a tightly integrated social mission—stop street violence and unite communities across America.  Sounds a bit nuts, but it’s amazing and we’ve demonstrated that our unique strategy works!

At TRU Colors, we believe economic issues and social exclusion are at the core of most street violence, and therefore an economic solution is needed to stop it. TRU Colors is an entrepreneurial solution to some of the country’s biggest problems. A measurable solution that’s scalable, impactful, and financially sustainable.
