TVG Network Betfair US is a subsidiary of Paddy Power Betfair plc. Paddy Power Betfair plc was formed in 2016 from the merger of two of the fastest-growing online betting operators in the world; Paddy Power plc and Betfair Group plc.  Betfair US consists of two operations;

TVG – an online horserace betting business based in California
Betfair Casino – an online casino site in New Jersey

TVG is the largest advanced deposit wagering (ADW) operator, offering US customers the ability to place online bets on horse racing. The ADW market is the largest legal form of online betting in the USA and TVG operates in over twenty States.

TVG has performed strongly in recent times with revenues and handle (volume of wagers placed) both outperforming the wider market over the last three years. This has been driven by ongoing modernization of the product, with TVG becoming the first US operator to launch native iPhone and iPad apps, upgrading the distribution of its cable channel to High Definition and establishing a vibrant social media presence around key US racing events.

In 2013 TVG launched ADW in New Jersey with a deal to operate the 4NJbets platform on behalf of the State of New Jersey and its racing industry. In 2015 TVG acquired HRTV, a rival television network previously operated by the Stronach Group. At the same time, TVG and the Stronach Group announced new television and betting rights deals that will give TVG ongoing access to over 40,000 live races a year.

Betfair New Jersey is an exciting new online casino that was launched in November 2013 following the opening of the New Jersey online gaming market. The business is still in its very early stages but Betfair is excited to be part of a market with huge potential.
