TYK America Inc. is a subsidiary of TYK Corporation (Japan), a global manufacturer of refractory products. TYK America's US headquarters and manufacturing plant is located in Clairton, Pennsylvania just south of Pittsburgh. TYK manufactures refractory products for the Steel, Non-Ferrous and Specialty Metals industries as well as advanced ceramics for many specialty applications.
