Urban provides comprehensive civil engineering, transportation engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying, and sustainability consulting services to our private and public sector clients. Our services are primarily focused in Northern Virginia; however, we have active or recently completed projects throughout Virginia, and in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, and as far away as Japan.

Past and Present 
Since Urban’s inception in 1967, the firm has grown to over 100 employees in three offices in Northern Virginia. Our professionals are experts at time-tested hands on design techniques. We also use state-of-the-art technology in the office and the field to deliver accurate and efficient results on every project. We strive to stay ahead of changes that could impact the industry, and take the initiative to capitalize on new opportunities as they arise.
