The Insurtech wefox was founded in Switzerland in November 2014 under the brand FinanceFox. wefox combines expertise and many years of experience in the insurance market with the modern possibilities of digital technologies. The service platform wefox enables customers, brokers, and insurance companies to efficiently manage insurance and financial products as well as business processes. The wefox platform is based on a combination of digital functions and consulting know-how from the classic insurance business. 

Since its launch in Switzerland in September 2015, in Germany in October 2015 and in Austria in March 2017, wefox has already convinced more than 600,000 policyholders in record time. The company, with over 180 employees, cooperates with numerous local insurance brokers and is continuously expanding its network across the country. Expansion into other countries is in preparation.
