Founded by Zachy Zacharia in 1944, Zachys has evolved from a corner liquor store into a renowned destination for fine wine and spirits and an internationally recognized auction powerhouse. Our mission is to offer unique experiences and access opportunities to our clients. In the 1970s, we were the first U.S. retailer to sell Bordeaux Futures. In the 1990s, we were among the first in the industry to launch a website. In the mid-1990s, we played a pivotal role in introducing wine auctions to New York, transforming these events into social gatherings where clients could acquire rare bottles while enjoying great company. Today, Zachys offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing Retail, Storage, and Auction, expertly guiding clients through an extraordinary journey from discovery to curation, and even to consignment.
