Barton Community College is a public higher education institution based in Great Bend, Kansas. Its main campus sits on a 160-acre site northeast of the city and includes facilities such as housing and the Midwest Utility Pipeline Training Center, with a Grandview Plaza branch that hosts the Hazardous Materials and Emergency Management programs and the BARTonline online education platform. The college serves surrounding counties and maintains partnerships with state correctional facilities in its service area, and it has maintained a long-standing association with Fort Riley since 1984, which expanded to Fort Leavenworth in 2012.
