The company is managed by Douglas Telecommunications, Inc., which got its start during the advent of cellular over thirty years ago. Douglas Telecommunications ran a multi-state system of cellular mobility networks that ultimately served more than 75,000 customers in Georgia, Illinois, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. These markets operated under the trade name “CellularOne” until the 2000s. Now, BroadbandOne is part of the cutting edge of next-generation wireless networks. Previously untapped by service providers, BroadbandOne’s 5G spectrum will allow for a new type of internet experience with greater bandwidth, lower latency, and faster speeds. BroadbandOne’s licenses are designated for fixed and mobile service across many states with the majority of holdings in Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, and California. The company is building strategic partnerships with service providers and communities to deploy services over its spectrum licenses.
