Circuit of The Americas is a motorsports and entertainment venue located in Del Valle, Texas, near Austin. It was purpose-built to host the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix through 2026 and is positioned as the only FIA-certified Grade 1 track in the United States, and one of only 26 worldwide. Beyond F1, the venue hosts other major motorsports events such as MotoGP and NASCAR, along with entertainment and business gatherings, while pursuing sustainability through operations, design, education and partnerships. The Formula 1 weekend can draw as many as 400,000 attendees, with an estimated majority coming from outside Texas, and the events reach a global television audience. The venue operates with a mid-sized workforce and serves as a platform for fans, event organizers, sponsors and corporate partners to engage with motorsports and related entertainment experiences. In May 2026, media reports described lawsuits alleging negligence related to incidents at the on-site COTALAND park involving Circuit of the Americas and a ride manufacturer.
