Darlington Raceway is a 1.366-mile oval race track in Darlington, South Carolina, that opened in 1950. It hosts major NASCAR events, including the Bojangles' Southern 500 and the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 during Labor Day weekend, and its weekend is known as NASCAR's Official Throwback Weekend. The venue also hosts community events such as the Speed & Feed BBQ Cook-Off, Classic Car Show, Movie Nights, and Kids' Club Day. The track's egg-shaped layout stems from Ramsey's Pond near Turn 4, with banking of 25 degrees in Turns 1-2 and 23 degrees in Turns 3-4, and it is home to the Darlington Raceway Stock Car Museum and the NMPA Hall of Fame. Owned and operated by International Speedway Corporation, the facility is based in Darlington, South Carolina, with recent plans to bring back the Speed & Feed BBQ Festival in May 2026.
