Econotek Communications was formed in 1997 just after the deregulation of the telecommunications industry. We cut our teeth in the business sector where minutes mean money Econotek's top priority is to provide our customers with reliable, uninterrupted service around the dock. Our fifteen years of success was accomplished by the dedication and service ethic of our employees.

The company was originally founded to supply the business community with better telecommunications services and greater reliability at a lower price than what was available through Verizon. Today, the demand for premium service at an economical price is greater than ever, and we are proud to be delivering the best to an ever growing number of businesses. Econotek has provided infrastructure wiring to a diverse spectrum of sophisticated commercial consumers.

The Econotek philosophy of providing reasonably priced product in a hassle free timely way has been enhanced by the strength of our IP network. This network is delivered through the redundancy of two diverse POPS, strategically located in downtown New York. Each secure site is served by diverse fiber routes triangulated via a BGP network and supported by UPS and Generators at each location. Through this network and the network operations center, Econotek provides the most sophisticated IP voice services at competitive prices, available today. As with all our service offerings our Unified Mobility Division has experienced professionals with the know how to solve all IP  delivery issues.

Econotek is a registered CLEC (Commercial Local Exchange Carrier), licensed for Commercial customers within New York by the NYS Public Service Commission.
