In 1999,  increasing customer demand brought about the relocation of the companies to our current 27,000 square foot facility in Terre Haute, Indiana.   
 
In 2008, we built an additional 12,000 square foot facility to make room for Mercer Technologies’ Green Vacuum Furnace Series of rebuilt furnaces and equipment.  These furnaces utilize existing components remanufactured to original or improved specifications.  By reusing the steel in furnaces, Mercer Technologies prevents forming more than 180 tons of carbon dioxide that would result from the manufacturing of a new furnace.  We also save enough energy that would continually power fifty average American homes.  Midwest Vacuum Pumps rebuilds all of the vacuum pumps that Mercer Tech utilizes on their systems.
 
With over 70 years combined experience in the vacuum pump and furnace industry, we are here to serve your needs.  Mercer Technologies currently employs 35 full-time individuals with an annual revenue of more than $7 million. At Mercer Technologies, we pride ourselves on the quality of our service, from the attention to detail so evident in our hot zones to our fast turnaround of completely remanufactured vacuum furnaces.
