Nanyang Polytechnic is a higher education institution in Singapore, established in 1992. It offers full-time diploma programs and common entry pathways designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and knowledge, while also providing a broad range of continuing education options to support lifelong learning. NYP also leads national efforts in key sectors through its CET institutes—the Asian Culinary Institute Singapore, the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies, and the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning—established in partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore. Based in the Central Region, the polytechnic serves learners and industry partners by aligning its offerings with workforce needs and opportunities for professional advancement. A recent development includes a collaboration with the National Cancer Centre Singapore to develop virtual reality simulations intended to better prepare pediatric patients for procedures such as CT scans and radiotherapy.
