Northstar Pulp & Paper is a full service recycling and trash hauling company with a century’s worth of experience in assisting businesses to reduce their waste stream and develop innovative recycling programs. The Goodman family has been known as pioneers within the recycling industry ever since Hyman Goodman began collecting rags by carriage in 1898. He built the foundation of his business on two simple principles – integrity and service reliability. Now in the Goodman family’s fifth generation within the industry, we continue to dedicate ourselves to the same core values. While we continue to operate with the same principles, our methods and materials have changed considerably over time. We have reinvigorated our primary fiber operation with the installation of a state-of-the-art Bollegraaf HBC 120S baler while we continue to diversify our business. Northstar now proudly operates a plastic shredding and granulating enterprise, which allows us to provide yet another service to our supplier base. We certainly have come a long way from collecting rags by carriage and we invite you to see our progress over the last 116 years.
