Prancing Leopard derives its name from and is dedicated to the proud Snow Leopard, an endangered species found in the Himalayas and Aral Mountains of Eurasia, and is an active supporter of the Snow Leopard Trust.  Prancing Leopard founded the non-profit Women Artisan Project, which provides home-bound women an independent income by practicing traditional handwork.
