Tech Tour operates as a European tech entrepreneurship and investment community that connects promising tech founders with active investors to support fundraising and growth through collaborative programmes and events. The organization traces its origins to volunteers who organized the first tech tours more than 25 years ago, giving the project its name; Tech Tour was founded in Geneva in 1998 as an independent body to facilitate European innovation. Based in Brussels, in the Brussels region, Tech Tour describes itself as the largest European community that connects tech entrepreneurs with investors through events and coordinated programmes. Its activities aim to create a Europe-wide network that brings together growing companies and the actors who can help them scale, including investors, corporates, regions, and service providers. In January 2024, Tech Tour Group launched the 2024 edition of the Growth50 List to highlight notable growth-stage companies within its ecosystem.
