Visit Denver is the official marketing arm of the City and County of Denver, responsible for selling Denver as a convention and leisure destination. Visit Denver is governed by a board of directors, employs a staff of more than 60 professionals and counts nearly 1,200 businesses as members. It’s funded from both private and public sources, including 3.75 percent of the lodger's tax in the City and County of Denver. In 2025, Denver welcomed 37.6 million visitors, including 20. million overnight visitors, according to Longwoods International. The study, commissioned by Visit Denver, found that metro Denver visitors spent $10.5 billion at metro area businesses, while supporting 73,200 metro-area jobs. Denver sets itself apart.
