In pursuit of the American dream, A.H. McCarty opened his own typewriter repair business, McCarty’s Office Machines, in 1959.  Under the leadership of the current Owner and President, Jim McCarty, McCarty’s has grown in size and products offerings to include office supplies, furniture, janitorial supplies, printing and many other office related services.  Business equipment offerings have expanded to include Canon copiers and networked multi-function machines, as well as, Hewlett Packard sales and service.

Focusing on expansion of its Southeast Kansas trade area, McCarty’s acquired a Coffeyville, Kansas, based office supply store in 2001.  This strategic location allowed McCarty’s to expand its trade area to include Northeast Oklahoma.
