Emails now get re-verified before reaching Hubspot

Email re-verification, already live for Outreach and Salesloft exports, now covers Hubspot too, so a stale email doesn't quietly make it into your sync.

Key Takeaways

Every email now gets re-verified right before it syncs to Hubspot, the same protection Outreach and Salesloft exports already have.

If a check comes back invalid, the email gets replaced with a constructed @leadiq.com address instead of pushing a broken one into Hubspot.

Turn it on or off anytime in Group Governance settings.

Email re-verification, already live for Outreach and Salesloft exports, now covers Hubspot too, so a stale email doesn't quietly make it into your sync.

A few months ago, we shipped automatic re-verification for every email pushed to Outreach, then extended it to Salesloft. Today that same protection covers Hubspot.

Here's what happens now: before a contact's email syncs over to Hubspot, LeadIQ checks whether it's still valid, not just whether it was valid when the contact was first found.

If the email was already re-verified in the last 48 hours, the check gets skipped and the sync goes straight through.

If the check comes back invalid, LeadIQ replaces it with a constructed placeholder address ending in @leadiq.com before the push, so the sync completes without a bounce-prone email quietly sitting in your Hubspot record. That placeholder is easy to spot later if you want to go back and find a better contact for that record.

What this means for you

Fewer bad emails in Hubspot. A contact can go stale between the moment you find them and the moment you actually reach out. This catches that gap right before it matters, instead of after a campaign bounces.

Consistent behavior across every destination. Outreach, Salesloft, and now Hubspot all handle a failed re-verification the same way, a placeholder address instead of a broken sync.

You're in control. Turn email re-verification for Hubspot on or off anytime in Group Governance settings.

Take a look at Settings > Team > Group Governance settings to see where this lives for your org.
